The next generation in sensory equipment, which provides a calming and stimulating learning environment for people of all ages and abilities, will be showcased at Hospitalar 2010 - the largest medical trade fair in Latin America.

Available from UK based company Experia, the groundbreaking range of IRiS sensory products are designed to suit the bespoke needs of an individual – whatever their age – providing them with an intensive, full body sensory experience.

Ideal for stimulating, calming and developing life skills, the interactive equipment uses unique technology to produce a breathtaking combination of smells, light, vibration and video projection.
All the products use wireless technologies, making them even more accessible; allowing the user to have total freedom whilst enjoying the experience.
Sensory products are not only aimed at special needs establishments but also mainstream schools, hospitals, day care centres, toys library, nursing homes, adult resource/training centre, etc. They can be used as part of an educational programme or just for fun; transporting a person’s imagination around the world, to any destination or to any particular time in history.

Proving to be a success in the UK, revolutionary products such as the M.I.L.E (Multisensory Interactive Learning Environment®) are being widely adopted in special needs and mainstream establishments across the world.

Although sensory equipment is a relatively new concept to Latin America there has been a recent growth in countries such as Chile and Mexico and the company is using Hospitalar 2010 to highlight its many benefits for both users and their carers.

Gareth Jones from Experia, said: “All our products have the same aim to offer innovation, accessibility and fun, regardless of the users age or ability. We combine creativity with the latest technologies and the result is a truly unique learning environment, which everyone can enjoy.”
“I am looking forward to showcasing our range of pioneering technologies at Hospitalar 2010 and expanding our network of distributors and agents within Latin America.”

Hospitalar is taking place on 25 – 28th May 2010 in São Paulo, Brazil and serves as the stage for pioneering UK companies like Experia to showcase their cutting edge technologies. Throughout the exhibition Experia will be located on the UK Pavilion in Green Hall.
