The finalists for the annual Medilink Healthcare Business Awards have been announced; revealing the finest healthcare organisations in Yorkshire and Humber.
Taking place on July 8th at the Royal Armouries in Leeds the awards are an integral part of Medilink Yorkshire and Humber (Y&H)’s Innovation Day 2010 - the premier networking event in the region’s healthcare calendar; bringing together leading figures in the sector, including senior business representatives, clinicians and researchers. Companies will learn about funding opportunities available to them, hear from experts in the sector and be given the chance to network with key industry figures:
The event will include an exhibition showcasing the latest innovations in Healthcare Technologies and services, the announcement of the 2010 award winners, and presentations from key figures in the industry including Mirella Marlow (National Institute of Clinical Evidence) – who will explain the new single evaluation pathway and the difficult challenge of getting your products adopted by the NHS; Mike Gordon (CEO of Healthcare at Home Ltd) – who will share the secrets to his business’ multi-million pound success; and Richard Seabrook, Head of Technology Transfer - Wellcome Trust – who will offer his advice on funding in LifeSciences.
