The Sheffield Star Business Awards are now open for entries – offering businesses throughout the South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire the chance to win 14 awards.
Organised by the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and in association with First For Business magazine, the awards will celebrate the ninth year of recognising and rewarding businesses across industries on business success.
The awards categories are broad ranging, including awards for manufacturing excellence, new businesses, innovation and international success.
John Furbisher, (Acting) Editor of The Star, said: “The Star Business Awards will enable us to do that for the first time and I would urge every business in the Sheffield, Barnsley, Chesterfield, Doncaster and Rotherham region to take a long, hard look at its own achievements and consider submitting an entry for one of the award categories.”
The Star Business Awards are open to any company with a principal trading address or registered office with one of the following post codes: S1-S79, S82-S99, DN1-DN13, DN23-DN30, DN38-DN39, DN41-DN99, DE45.
Companies can nominate themselves or clients for a Star Business Award by visiting the Awards website and downloading an entry form.
The completed form, together with any supporting information, should be sent to Emma Angell, Regional Promotions Manager, Promotions Department, The Star, York Street, Sheffield, S1 1PU, in an envelope marked Business Awards Entry.
Entries should arrive by the close of business on Friday August 6 2010.
