Sheffmed

Leading the way in surgical solutions, UK company Sheffmed will be attending Arab Health this week, hoping to establish distributors in key markets and unveil their new HD Lite system, a video headlight that allows wireless HD recording and playback.

Focusing on innovation and design, Sheffmed offer dynamic solutions to the medical device field including a range of operating room consumables and high end video capture devices.

The HD Lite system is made from ultra lightweight materials, its design allows a micro HD camera to be mounted on the headlight for recording procedures and operates wireless with a battery pack.

HD Lite allows surgeons to record and archive their procedures, providing valuable teaching material whilst also offering possible evidence against any potential litigation.

Alongside Sheffmed’s leading video capture devices the company also offer a range of operating room consumables including a single use suction irrigation set to be used during laparoscopic procedures.

Sheffmed’s single use suction irrigation is designed to minimise the risk of blocking, whilst the over sized buttons reduce fatigue during use by allowing 2 fingers to be used for either irrigation or suction.

Speaking about the event, Sheffmed’s Export Manager, Akram Al-Saroori said:

“We hope this year’s Arab Health will generate some key leads in international markets and allow us to establish distributors in the Gulf regions.

“Our aim is to develop innovative products that are striking in design and bring added value to healthcare professionals and we will be demonstrating products living up to this ethos at the exhibition.”

The company will also be showcasing their comprehensive range of suction tubes for ENT / HNO and Maxillo facial surgery at the show. Packed, single use and sterile they offer both convenience and safety as well as ensuring cost effectiveness – all important components for healthcare systems around the world.

Arab Health 2012 runs from the 23rd to the 26th of January in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Sheffmed will be exhibiting in Hall 7 at Stand B31.
