A world leading laparoscopic device, which is described as an ‘innovative cost effective solution’ by surgeons worldwide will be on display at MEDICA 2009, Düsseldorf; the world’s largest medical trade fair.

Showcased by British based Surgical Innovations - the designer and manufacturer of innovative surgical devices - Logi™Flex is a flexible laparoscopic device which uses pioneering flex technology to offer surgeons better rigidity during delicate surgical procedures.

Launched in Paris in August, the pioneering device is made from resposable™ technology which delivers the cost effectiveness of a reusable instrument but has the optimum performance of a disposable instrument.

It has been specially developed in conjunction with laparoscopic surgeons, who understand the needs of clinicians and patients and is proving to be a successful alternative to traditional disposal instruments in hospitals around the world.

The award winning company are recognised as highly innovative and progressive within the medical device industry and are looking forward to exhibiting their unique laparoscopic devices at the exhibition.

Graham Bowland Managing Director of Surgical Innovations Ltd, said: “MEDICA is a platform for innovation and we are pleased to be able to showcase out pioneering flex technology at the show.”
“Attended by thousands of million worldwide, the congress will give us an opportunity to talk to international surgeons about their individual needs and also meet with our dedicated team of worldwide distributors to further enhance relationships.”

MEDICA 2009 will take place between 18-21 November at 2009 at the Messe Düsseldorf, Germany.
At the show Surgical Innovations will be located on the UK Pavilion in hall 16, stand G10.
