The NIHR Surgical MedTech Cooperative (MIC) is organising an event which will host speakers from the area of colorectal, vascular and hepatopanreaticobiliary (HPB) surgery, as well as from the Med-Tech Innovation field.
The event will take place on the 19th November from 9:00am till 4:30pm at the Cloth Hall Court in Leeds.
Focussing on the development of medical technologies, the ‘Surgery 2030’ will provide a great opportunity to network with a range of clinicians, engineers and scientists from the healthcare industry and evaluate emerging surgical innovations within the NHS. One of the core aims is to address clinical problems and discuss potential research and technologies which could ensure safety and further progress in surgeries.
Based at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals, the second biggest healthcare provider in the UK, the NIHR MIC is dedicated to initiatives bringing together partners from different fields to share expertise and develop new ideas which could become reality.
