In 2009 Medilink Y&H will further develop its links with China on behalf of the region and UKTI through a number of key activities. This started last month with a multi city market visit focusing on Beijing, Qingdao, Xi’an and Hangzhou and also briefly visiting Hong Kong.
This visit enabled Medilink to get a better understanding of China’s rapidly changing business environment through a programme of meetings and visits to:
UK invested enterprises, Chinese domestic enterprises, Development Zones and Municipal authorities. The three Chinese cities were highlighted in a recent report on China’s regional cities, in which the China British Business Council (CBBC) and the University of Leeds identified 35 locations outside the highly competitive areas of Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, which offer the greatest business potential for UK companies.
This activity will be followed later in the year when Medilink Y&H will be running the first UK pavilion at CMEF Autumn, Chengdu 28-31 October. In addition to the UK pavilion we will also be organising our 4th health technology symposium in the country, as part of our ongoing relationship with CAMDI.
Any clients wishing to express an interest in participating in CMEF Autumn should contact David Howarth: d.howarth@medilink.co.uk
