The NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA), an award-winning national accelerator which supports committed individuals to scale high impact, evidence-based innovations across the NHS and wider healthcare system, is now open to applicants.
Industry innovators, SMEs, clinicians and academics and encouraged to present their solutions for critical challenges and top priorities for NHS staff and patients. The programme serves as a great opportunity to unlock barriers to more innovative healthcare and share real-life knowledge on how to spread new solutions across the NHS in England.
Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, said: “It’s so important that as new technologies develop, and new ideas come to fruition, the NHS draws these in to make it better for patients, and an easier place to work. So much of this is about culture change within the NHS. The NHS Innovation Accelerator is critical to making that happen.”
The deadline for applications is on the 23rd of October. Anyone interested in applying is invited to a briefing event with the NIA team, hosted by Yorkshire & Humber AHSN, in Leeds on the 10th of October – click here for more details.
