Do you have a CE marked product? Has it been on the market for less than 5 years? Are you interested in generating additional evidence to support adoption?
Innovate UK, in conjunction with the Office for Life Sciences, have released the 4th round of their “SME support to evaluate innovative medical technologies” call which commits 50% of funding towards total project costs to help medical technology companies evaluate products in a real-world setting, generating the clinical evidence required for adoption of products.
Eligible product categories include: Medical devices, diagnostics and regulated digital technologies
The funding will support medical technology companies in gap analysis work to identify the evidence you require, planning for future clinical work and will even fund the clinical work itself.
There are two separate strands of the call companies can apply to:
1. Planning and preparation for a study, for which total eligible project costs can be up to £50,000.
2. A study to collect clinical performance and cost-effectiveness data, for which total project costs can be up to £250,000.
