International Public Relations
Exhibitions are fantastic platforms for companies to showcase their innovative products and engage with global audiences; however if you don’t proactively market yourself in the run up to the exhibition you could run the risk of attracting the wrong kind of people to your stand.
To avoid this and help maximise your investment, Medilink runs an international PR scheme designed to enhance your visibility and also drive more traffic to your stand. Ultimately its aim is to help you have a more successful show and ensure that people know ‘who you are’ and ‘where to find you’ in advance of the exhibition.
This well established scheme has proved year after year to be an invaluable resource for companies, helping them to attract buyers and distributors from across the globe.
It uses a variety of traditional and social PR techniques to help get your message out to the global healthcare market place.
Printed and Online media
As fully trained journalists, we understand how to write successful press releases and more importantly how to get your press release published. As part of the scheme we draft your press release and send it out to our extensive database of online and printed healthcare trade journals in the UK and around the world.
We will also work with the exhibitions press officer to encourage them to include you in the daily show papers and other show outlets such as the website, social media streams and the show magazines.
All of our online releases are written with search engine optimisation (SEO) in mind ensuring the maximum exposure and highest rankings for your article on search engines. Companies have the choice to have releases translated into different European languages (this is an additional charge.)
Online Press Office
Your press release and product images will also be featured in our online press office; a useful portal for any international journalist attending the show. The resource, which will be located on the Medilink website, allows journalists to find out more about your company, access a wealth of multi-media content (images, videos etc) and arrange meetings with you during the exhibition.
The Online Press Office will have also links to your website to encourage journalists to find out more about you before, during and after the exhibition.
Alongside traditional media distribution, your company will also benefit from online distribution and social media support. Utilising Medilink’s well established social media channels your press release will instantly be given a reach of over 600 regional, local and national healthcare contacts including key stakeholders and healthcare journalists who can pass on your message thousands of people around the world.
The Medilink twitter feed will also be active during the exhibition, keeping journalists informed. These live updates will help drive additional traffic to your website and visitors to your stand.
Our team will be at the exhibition to take photographs of your stand and after the exhibition these will be sent to you on a CD. We will also be on hand to liaise with journalists, facilitate meetings and ensure your press release is in journalist’s pigeon holes.
Additionally if there are particular markets you are keen to get into we speak to representatives in that market (through our UK Trade & Investment contacts) to identify potential opportunities before the show that can be explored whilst there.
Monitoring and coverage
To keep you updated on our progress we will continually monitor coverage for you and update you when your press release has been published. After the show you will receive a cuttings service of all your press coverage, as well as a CD of all your photographs.
