Japan is home to one of the worlds fastest ageing populations in the world, in a country that is already the worlds 2nd largest Medical device Market. Currently around 23% of Japan's population are over 65, which is anticipated to rise to over 30% by 2025. It's current population is 128 million.
UKTI are committed to assisting UK companies to capitalise on the opportunities presented by this market, and as such, have organised a trade mission to the country to visit two key lifescience clusters; Tokyo & Osaka. The event will take place during the week of February 13th - 17th 2012.
The mission will be the only UKTI mission to Japan within this financial year.
The cost of the mission is £1100, which includes a bespoke OMIS to visit relevant organisations in accordance with your company needs.
