Medilink Yorkshire and Humber (Y&H) is taking companies from across the UK to China to display their revolutionary healthcare innovations to an international audience at CMEF – Asia’s largest Medical Device exhibition.
Imports account for 85%-90% of the Chinese medical instrument market with an estimated value of US$5.2 billion in 2008. With a flourishing healthcare sector, the country is now looking overseas for investment.
The China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) is a bi-annual event that showcases medical technology in healthcare hospitals by exhibitors from across the world. It is an ideal opportunity for British companies to platform their cutting-edge products as well as a chance to meet potential business partners.
Kevin Kiely, Managing Director of Medilink Y&H who is travelling to the event, said: “Our region’s forward thinking and progressive healthcare sector mirrors that of China and we hope this initiative will provide further opportunities to work within the country."
CMEF is taking place in Chengdu between 28-31 October 2009 at New International Convention & Exposition Center.
