This free event, hosted by Arup, will bring together key players in the transformation of healthcare in England to demonstrate how the challenges of Quality, Productivity and Innovation can be met, whilst delivering efficiencies in service delivery and improved patient outcomes.
After a networking breakfast, delegates will receive presentations from three experienced NHS professionals covering:
• The legacy from 18 Weeks
• Transformational pathways
• Innovation and telehealth
A workshop session will follow, designed to facilitate sharing of best practice and collaborative learning.
SPEAKER PROFILES
Steve Laitner - Associate Medical Director, East of England SHA
In his role as Associate Medical Director at the East of England SHA, Steven co-chairs the Long Term Conditions Programme Board. He is also National Clinical Advisor to the Department of Health (Elective Care and Diagnostics). Steven has recently been appointed to lead the National “Right Care for Patients” QIPP workstream for Shared Decision Making.
Ann Wagner - Director of Strategy and Business Development, Airedale NHS Trust
A member of the Board at Airedale NHS Trust since 2006, Ann originally held the position of Director of Corporate Development. In this role, she successfully led the organisation through their application to become a Foundation Trust, before moving on to become Director of Strategy and Business Development.
Philippa Robinson - Director, Philippa Robinson Consulting Limited
Until April 2009, Philippa was the Department of Health’s National Implementation Director, responsible for the successful implementation of the 18 Weeks referral to treatment programme. After a career in the NHS, Philippa is now working independently on a range of leadership and change programmes in the UK and internationally.
