Description

UKTI and Aid-funded Business Service in collaboration with the British High Commisions in Nairobi and Entebbe is organising a group visit to the local/regional offices of the various International Aid/Donor organisations based in Kenya and Uganda.

The Majority of opportunity will be for companies looking to bid for consultancy work financed by the Donors including the World Bank, African Development Bank and the European Commission. The World Bank and African Development Bank projects are administered by the recipient Government (including evaluation of bids, responsibility for payment to supplier etc) and the Banks provide an oversight role in the process. Therefore it is important to establish contact not only with the Donor, but also the recipient government who will become your client.

The cost of the event is £300 per person and a registration fee of £780 + VAT per company.
