Discover the potential of high value in healthcare manufacturing
What is high value added manufacturing?
Why is it important?
What are the challenges?
How does it add value?
These are key questions which will be explored at this all day event to increase the understanding of what high value added manufacturing means for the healthcare technologies industry.
In today’s globally competitive landscape manufacturers are inventors, innovators, global supply chain managers and service providers. What was once seen just as production is now production, research, design, and service provision.
This event aims to engage the national healthcare technologies community - and wider manufacturing sector - in discussions on high value added manufacturing.
Throughout the day, delegates will learn from case study examples about the adoption and development of new technologies and how these challenges have been addressed.
Key presenters will share their expertise showcasing experiences of:
• innovative process and technology integration
• how new technologies have been commercialised
• new materials and processes developed for healthcare (or adopted from other sectors)
• future developments and anticipated advances for the sector
